What would make my kitty pee on the shoes i keep by my front door that i wear everyday?

She only pees on my shoes no one elses, and it’s only the shoes i leave by my door like work shoes and everyday wear shoes not the shoes i keep in closet or under my bed. Is she mad at me?

She probably isn’t mad at you. It most likely, I would think, has to do with whatever scent is on your shoes. Either that, or her litter box isn’t clean enough for her. She may have a urinary tract infection. When a cat has an infection like that, they’ll use the bathroom in odd places. Make sure you keep her litter box very clean (meaning you scoop it at least twice a day) and you may consider taking her to the vet to make sure she doesn’t have an infection. If it isn’t the litter box and it isn’t the infection, it’s probably the scent. So, I’d make sure to keep the shoes out of her reach.
if she has done it more then once i would guess that she still smells the urine on them when a cat can smell were there has been poop or pee there before they will continue to go there make sure you clean them a few times to get the smell out and remember you any not be able to smell it still but cats have a stronger sence of smell. either that or her litter trey isn’t clean enough.
You should put your shoes away.
