I like to wear light colored clothes and shorts. dont bring all kids of junk either in your purse just your phone and wallet k? 1 pound in your purse is like carying 15 punds when it is hot out
Short, tank tops, tee shirts, flip flops, bikini.
well i lived there once and i think you should wear something bright but not ugly i hope i helped and make sure you wear cute little flip flops
for theme parks don’t wear skirts! wear comfortable shorts and tank, also wear comfy shoes, flip flops i’d say
I wear Rainbow brand flip flops when I go and shorts or even gauchos.
I usually wear just whatever I want. I don’t sweat that much.
Well, you should bring sneakers, shorts, a tee shirt, and a hat, and maybe sunglasses.
bring shorts, capris, t-shirts, and tank tops for the theme parks.
amd wear comfortable sneakers. (pumps?! no way LOL)
DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS TO THE PARKS.
i’ve noticed many posters above me have said to wear flip flops but i recommend sneakers. flip flops don’t support your feet at all which will make your feet hurt even more since you’ll be walking around for hours on end. and since they are so open they allow your feet to swell much bigger and faster which will make your feet ache even more. also its basically garunteed that your feet will get ran over with a stroller and someone is bound to kick the back of your foot so if you wear flip flops you are leaving your feet wide open for the pain.
Light-colored, loose-fitting, breathable weave clothing - shorts and T-shirt or polo shirt. Do not wear tank top or spaghetti strap blouse or anything that exposes your shoulders; you will sunburn so bad you will have blisters. Also, straps will chafe the skin - minimize any possible chafing. A hat is essential - the bigger and wider the brim, the better, and the material should block the sun but not the air.
Wear NOTHING darker than bright primary colors - black will be murder in the sun. White or pastels are best - especially for the hat. So what if it gets dirty easier - you want to be pretty or do you want to be happy/healthy? Wear your Little Black Dress in the evening, when the sun goes down.
Bring minimum SPF30 sunblock and use on all exposed skin or you will look like a freshly cooked lobster - and spend the rest of your vacation in the local hospital’s burn unit.
Do NOT wear sandals: the straps will chafe, and your lily-white feet will be exposed to the sun and burn blood red. Also, you will be spending more time on your feet walking and stand in line in one day in the parks than you usually do in at least a normal week. Wear good broken in sneakers or walking shoes with arch support and padded sole, and soft white cotton crew socks. Your feet will thank you for it!
Carry minimum stuff in pockets and/or purse; leave everything else in the car or hotel. Stop at every water fountain you can find and drink your fill. If that makes you run for the toilet twice as much, so much the better - the bathrooms are air-conditioned, and you can throw water on your face and neck and arms. Drink water or fruit juice instead of soda,. Avoid caffeine and alcohol like the plague: they will dehydrate you. Drink a minimum of 2 liters during each day in the park - try to force 4 liters. You will be amazed at how easy it will be.
Why the Sahara desert preparations for a day in the theme park? Two reasons: (1) Almost all patients in the parks’ medical aid stations are suffering from either heat stroke, dehydration, or crippling sunburn - often all 3 - and (2) if you had to ask this question, you obviously never lived down here in the summer and don’t know any better.
I do.
shorts and tops of your choice….sneaks at disney (you’ll walk like 5 miles easy, though I have worn flip flops and been okay)…for bumming around I go with shorts flip flops and muscle shirts (I’m a guy)…oh and make sure you have a good pair of sun glasses…
tropical clothes definitely. sandles, shorts, t-shirts. maybe a pair or two of nice clothes if u wanna go to a nice restaurant. a sweatshirt in case it gets kinda chilly. sneakers for walking. rain stuff cause it rains a lot in the afternoon
Light-colored cottons and silks. Sneakers or sandals would be fine, so long as they are lightweight and comfortable. You are going to be on your feet for MILES, so guard against blisters. Crocs are fabulous, but I always wear mine with the no-top socks so I don’t blister.
Have a good trip!
For the theme parks , bring breathable clothing.
Wear comfortable shorts that won’t rub, and a comfy tshirt or tank top.
As for shoes, running shoes, crocs or supportive sandals (like the ones underarmour makes, or reef.. ones specifically for the outdoors, or athletics.) will be fine, as long as your comfortable wearing them.
Don’t wear dresses, skirts etc to the parks, you’ll get uncomfortable and wish you were wearing shorts. It will be too hot to wear capri’s now, as with humidity the temperature is around 115 F.
You need to wear comfy tops. Like other said it should be light colored. Shoes for walking or running is good. Drink lots of water and watch out for afternoon thunderstorms.
Clothing wise…a lot of the people above are right. When I went in December, I brought two pairs of Crocs and a pair of broken-in sneakers. The Crocs were actually the most comfortable for me after my stupid day (I forgot to wear socks with them for one day when the ground was wet and I got one MONSTER blister on my foot, but as long as I had socks on after that, they were very comfortable). Fashion wise…I wore jeans (it was December and I don’t get hot that easily any more for some reason) so the Crocs and sock issue wasn’t noticable unless you really looked.
Comfortable walking shoes–summer clothes and swim suit–and a sweater or light jacket for nights. It does get chilly at night.
i dont have much time to answer, but unlike what many posters said…DONT WEAR FLIP FLOPS!
it is NOT unusual for a person to walk 16 MILES in a day at disney world. 16! you don’t want to be walking around in flip flops for 16 miles. trust me, i’ve tried it. it wasn’t a good idea.
light clothes: tank tops, t-shirts, shorts (not skirts! you’ll be flashing people when you get off the rides!)
try for light colors. it’s going to be super hot in the beginning of august. and try not to carry around much, it will weigh you down. no purses…bring a backpack if anything so your hands are free.
try this packing list:

have fun!
Loose fitting shorts and light colored t-shirts are best. Wear a good pair of walking shoes-sandals will only cause blisters after a few hours of walking. Have fun!
Cool cottons are always a favorite in the summer FL heat. Khaki shorts or capris are good. Maybe even a lightweight denim could work, too. Breathable cotton t-shirts or tank tops would also be good. Do wear plenty of sunscreen, though.
Definitely no sandals. We wear broken in tennis shoes all the time. This last trip we wore Crocs and loved them more than our old Nike’s. They were super comfortable and if they got wet they dried almost immediately.
On our boots.bz shoes shops, there are Many types of shoes, such as christian louboutin ,Manolo Blahnik,Burberry, celine, chanel, chloe, dior , Ferragamo, Gucci, LV, Versace shoes, and we updated our shoes style from time to time.
Comfortable sandals that strap on your feet and won’t cause blisters would be my first choice. Tevas or Birkenstocks would both fit the bill. Second choice would be comfortable sneakers with good support, but your feet may feel suffocated in those.
Here are some Birkenstocks with Disney theme! Cute, and not over-the-top Disney either. Check it out.
