Ian asked:

I keep ruining my shoes. I need something that will hold up. I heard that Fallens are good and I’ve heard people say that Nike SBs are good as well. What do you guys think? Give me a specific shoe from whatever brand and how long it lasts you personally.

I’ve been using etnies for a while but for me they aren’t the best. I’ve recently changed over to Vans, and with a little shoe goo, they have lasted around twice as long as my etnies. I have also heard that DC makes cheap shoes so don’t get those. But yeah Vans are good. Especially good if your into old school skating. If you want a good description and details on a shoe go to - and then go to the shoes. They have like every skate shoe brand and details and you can order and but them from the site if you want. They also have details on clothes and bags and decks and everything. The Chad

ok you will probly dismiss this right away but my friends and i (for the most part) just get Airspeed shoes and heres why…
    1. you can get them at walmart
    2. there $15-$20
    3. last just as long or longer than DC’s
    4. you can buy 2-3 pairs for the price of van’s, nike, or DC shoes
    5. 2-3 pairs will last way longer and cost the same as one pair of those shoes

Also, check out my friends youtube channel he’s a skater and is pretty sick.. …check it and sub if you like… Leonidas S

Nike Dunk SB Shoes would be a good choice,Designed with the skater in mind, the Nike Dunk SB has a stuff tongue, zoom air insole and extra padding. This make it comfort for the casual wearer and the skateboarder alike.

Here is a good place to buy good and cheap dunk sb shoes. Nancy

SBs are really expensive just to skate in so i mean, Vans are the best value and preformance wise in my opinion ( i get ‘em for like 20 bucks at the mall and i’m not talking at JC Penney) magicman6837

Apparently skateboarding was frequently done barefoot in the early days, and some continue to do that today. That’s because the first skateboarders were surfers. Of course if you do that, you should do it in a style that doesn’t hurt your feet, and if your shoes won’t hold up, doing it barefoot may be detrimental. unci
