One can only fall so many times on the rump while avoiding life altering head injuries. Give some attention to the type of soles and materials on the shoes. Thanks.

Rain boots because they’re “sticky” on the bottom so the chance of falling is less. <3 Show Gurl <3

Buy a pair of ice cleats. They slip over the soles of whatever shoes you are wearing and they have metal points that grip into the ice. On really icy surfaces even rough treaded boots will still slip, you need ice cleats. You can find them at sporting goods stores that sell hiking and climbing gear. They are also available at some shoe stores and at some drug stores (in the aisle with canes and assistance devices. My son uses them and hasn’t had any serious falls since buying them. the brand doesn’t always matter, but i would get rain boots or UGGS. For the UGGS put rain and stain guard on the suede and the sole. if you put it on the sole it will help keep you from sliding. MRS.JOHN MORRISON

boots and some shoes I would suggest. Some of the DVS brand shoes have CGT (Cold Grip Technology), or a sole which is made for gripping better on ice yet is just a regular sneaker you can use for every thing else too. Gold
