What are the best comfortable shoes for waiters bartenders or restaurant workers?
Hi. I work for a restaurant and am on my feet for 12 plus hours some days. My feet hurt after shifts and it even causes sorenes in my calves, back, etc…
What is the best shoe, shoe company,or insole out there on the market that can minimize my pain the most? Also, I am willing to pay the extra money for a great pair of shoes AND add additional insoles for more comfort.
What would be the best thing to buy and what stores can I find them at? Any help would be appreciated!

Hmm well i couldn’t tell you any brands but you have to just look at the shoe-look at the sole and the inside, if it supports enough. Also, make sure you’re getting the right size. I know it sounds silly but it’s easy to get one too small.
I would go to DSW or a shoe place and ask an employee there for information on which shoes they recommend, they should be able to help you out.
You need a slip resisitant shoe. Converse was the most confortable, supportive and lightweight. Florshein are very durable. Sketchers were the most stylish. The converse is one on the link but I know are available for less.
I bought a pair of shoes from Shoes for Crews ( they are specializing in shoes for restaurant workers etc). I am a waitress, my mother-in-law is a waitress/bartender and my husband is a cook. Actually 75 % of my coworkers wear those shoes. They have different styles and types of support. Average price is about $ 40 I think. But you can make that in tips just from one table but your feet will feel much better. They are super comfy and have non-slip surface ( which is very important in a restaurant business)
Try them- you will not regret!
Good luck
how about sneakers?
if you need you can try
