Rachel asked:

I have been taking a spin class regularly for about 2 months now, and am interested in investing in some spin shoes. What are a good brand of spin shoes? I don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on them, but I do want something that is going to be worth it. Do the shoes make a serious difference? As of now I am using a normal pair of sneakers.

You can get a pair of Shimano MT-31 or MT-21 shoes for around $40.
You can find other brands on sale for around that price. You probably want SPD shoes and clips. Check with you instructor.

Nashbar and Performance usually have good deals.

If you have a bike get a set of SPT pedals for it and they include the cleats. Other wise you need to buy the separate cleats.

Clippless shoes will allow you to use more muscles in you legs and will tone them more then just wearing sneakers. You will also burn more calories for that same reason.

I recommend you to see some shimano models for spinning and choose your fav. They are not expensive and they’re really good
