How do I repair a shoe with a hole on the sole or bottom?
2nd Commander asked:
How can I save it? Is a shoe officially over when the bottom gets a hole, even though it’s still a nice leather shoe? I can always buy another one for 70 bucks, the same pair. I also see shoe repair places. i’ve never checked them out. i don’t know how much they will charge for sole repair. or if it’s even worth it. what should i do?

What are the advantages of wearing shoes specifically made for tennis compared to cross trainers, for example?
Jrg M asked:
I’ve read reviews of people saying how the sole of their tennis shoes wore out in a few months. That’s because the sole of tennis shoes are thin. Cross trainers have much thicker tread. And I play tennis in them. How would it improve my playing, if I wore tennis specific shoes? Somebody once claimed that the heel of tennis shoes is lower, thus making for better balance while hitting the ball. Somebody else claimed they have better lateral support.

Hi! My son is nine months old and he has been taking small steps. People think that he might walk before turning one.
1. What are the characteristics of good walking shoes for babies under 12 months? Should they be heavy or light? What about the type of sole, etc?
2. What are some of the recommended shoe brands for babies? I mean those that would promote proper structure, growth etc.
Thanks for all your answers!
What white shoes have an orange sole wrap around to the top?
Tony F asked:
I saw a pair of shoes on TV the other day that were mostly white, but the most distinctive feature on them was that the sole of the shoe wrapped around the outside corner. The soles were orange and had bumps on them, and I don’t know if they are Puma, Adidas, Lacoste, Desiel, Nike, Skechers , or what. Also if you knew the name of the shoe or could post a link to a site that has them it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What are the shoes called that actually have a spherical ball underneath the sole of the shoe?
Baker asked:
So I was on the Texas Tech University campus the other day, and I saw someone gliding around on these shoes, but each of them had about a 4-inch in diameter spherical ball underneath them. NOT to be confused with skate shoes or anything of the sort. What are these things!?
