My normal shoe size is 11.5 mens and the pair of shoes that i plan on wearing is an 8.5. I put them on and its pretty tight but not unbearable. There wont be any bad side effects if i wear them for 4 hours (8-12)? They are sneakers, not dress shoes if that makes a difference, converse to be specific.
