Jay Jay asked:

I recently worked on a film shoot and was standing around for most of several 20 hour shoots. I was wearing converse and so of course my feet wound up hurting really bad because converse don’t have any arch support. I don’t own any actual tennis/athletic type shoes so I was planning on getting some to wear in the future so my feet won’t hurt as bad.
Does anyone know what kind of shoe would be good for standing a lot in?

I work at a really busy restaurant, and I have to be on my feet for 5-6 hour shifts the whole time, running back and fourth. I’ve been wearing converse because those are really the only closed toed shoes i have besides flip flops, heels, or gym shoes, but they hurt SOOO much.
Escpecially my heel.

I’m looking to buy a new pair of shoes today and want some opinions on some good shoes. I’m planning on running about 3 miles 5 times a week, I have a medium sized arch in my foot, and I run normal (my feet are straight, not pointed inside or outside). I’m looking for something that is very comfortable, light weight, reliable, and looks sexy. Help me out PLEASE!

I am starting track and I need some good shoes. My main things are pole vault and long jump. I have done long long jump in summer track, but never pole vault. The thing is that im 13 and I am only 4″ 11′. I wear a size (shoe size) 2-4. A good website would be good. And I would also appreciate tips. Thanks!
I live in the U.S. if that matters.

I have a pair of Ugg boots, but the toes always get soaked when it snows, and then the color’s not the same when they dry. I don’t want to keep ruining my boots (they’re being waterproofed today, but until then) what other shoes are good for when it’s snowing?

My hubby and I both have a pair of tennis shoes that just squeek when you walk. His are very expensive, mine are not, but I’d like to save both pairs. We just can’t stand to work in them when they are squeeking and making all eyes turn our way (and away from their work). I’m a teacher, so this is a big deal. I hate to get rid of good shoes.

Thanks,
Tia
