What type of shoes are good for running on sidewalks?

I have recently joined track and need good running shoes. We run on sidewalks… (I guess it’s cement?!) I recently bought “track shoes” with “track spikes” and I want to know if I should keep and wear them or return them. We don’t really run anywhere but streets, sidewalks.

What are the best shoes to where for standing 12 hours on cement flour?

It is a factory where you work with hot plastic molds and it is around 120 and the shoes need to take a lot of pressure from moving fast in the heat.
