I recently bought a new pair of asics, and I plan on keeping up with the ‘mileage’ of them. However, I would like to know what the life is for a pair of new running shoes.
I run between 2-5 miles on a concrete surface 3/4 times a week.

The general rule is about 300-500 miles. For most people this will last for about 6 months. Ryan

350-500 miles is the normal range people expect.

They’ll usually last a bit on the longer side if you rotate pairs so that they get recovery time between runs. Actual mileage will also vary with the surfaces you run on, the distances you run, your own weight and form, etc., however.

Your shoes are still good for walking once the midsole is too shot for running, too, so you can donate them to charity (e.g., at your local shoe store) once you yourself are done running in them. Yeti
