Your friend should pose as a shoe polish boy, with all portable accessories and the polish, and haunt train station, malls etc. and when he meets a businessman whom he fancies, he can volunteer to polish his shoes for free and in this pretex he can smell his shoes.

Do you want to save him ? Do you want to help him to become normal ? Then please do two things : a) don’t wear your own shoes when you take him to a psychiatrist - he may try to smell another man’s shoes, in a bus or a train ; people will call him insane. b) just
when your friend and you head for the shrink’s cabin, tell the shrink
to remove his own shoes as well. If your shoe-smeller sees the psychiatrist’s shoes, he may focibly smell them. It can make even the
psychiatrist become shocked, and then insane !
