How do i protect my hardwood floors from womens shoes?

Iam gonna have a small black tie party at my house. And my problem is that i recently installed hardwood floors. The girls that are comming over to my house are going to want to wear heels. Is there something in the market i can buy to place under there shoes. So it wont scractch my floors?

Tell them to take off the shoes Mr. G
Well, some of the girls may have wood floors, also. They may understand if you offer them to wear alternate foot apparel. They may be grateful, too. Get some of those super comfy slipper socks, one size fits all. Get a bunch and let them choose the color to wear.
Attaching something to the bottoms of their shoes may make it too slippery and make you liable for injuries. sweetpea
You can buy throw rugs to put down or large area rugs. If neither one’s an option, lay a beautiful sheet down & anchor it with a chair or couch in the corners.
This is also why you NEVER install hardwood floors. Carpet is best. Belle
Just live on your floors. If you are afraid to entertain on them, then don’t entertain.
I am a hardwood floor business owner. There is no way you can prevent your guests from accidentally scratching the floor unless you request all people to remove their shoes. I like the idea of providing comfy slippers to your guests. Jeff F
Put some rags or covers over the floor. And you can know more about hardwood floors on this site. I guess it would help you Aron J
I fully understood your concern about the hardwood flooring. You can hardly ask lady audiences to change their high heels. It’s a party! Try to use self-stick felt pads to attach to the heels. It may work. Good luck. SilkRose
