How do I know what shoe size I am in different brands of shoes online?

I want to buy some Vans or DC’s online but I have no idea what size I am. I am generally a 7 1/2 in shoes but it really depends. And I heard DC’s and Vans have weird sizes. How do I know what size I am without trying them on?

    they should have a ’sizing guide’ somewhere on their website.

    That is why you should pay close attention to the return policy before you buy from a site.
    That way you don’t end up getting stuck with shoes or paying a high restocking fee.
    Some sites welcome returns and don’t penalize you Duke
