How can I get my daughter to walk in shoes?

She is 20 months old now and every time I put shoes on her, she is fine unless I set her down. It is like her feet are cemented in concrete blocks. She refuses to walk in them! Any tips or tricks to get my baby walking before the nice weather comes and we spend more time outside?

put shoes on her and take her fav. toy and put it on the other side of the room and tell her to go get it

are you using sneakers with rubber soles or like soft bottom sneakers?
she just isnt used to the feel of shoes yet :-p get a shoe with the thinnest most flexible sole that you can and let her get used to those before using ‘regular’ sneakers :) gotta remember though as they gotta ‘learn’ to walk all over again with sneakers on there will be lots of spills and bumped noses and heads :p

my son used to be the same way! i got him some croc clogs and i got me the same so i will put mine on and he puts his on after about 3 days he started wearing them all the time! also take her somewhere and pick out 3 or 4 pair of shoes and let her choose which ones she likes hope this helps!
