What are the best shoes for standing in all day?
I work at a convenient store and when I started, my feet had no calluses whatsoever.
Fast forward 2 years. I have calluses on the 3 most common parts of my feet now.
I am currently treating them and they are slowly but surely going away. Now, what shoes would you recommend (that are less than $100) that aren’t so rough on my feet? Or tips to prevent calluses from returning?
The shoes have to be all black and have to look somewhat athletic.
What are the best shoes to cushion my knees and prevent knee damage?
I’ve read about running a lot on hard pavement and how it can destroy your knees. I’m going to college and plan on playing tennis on hardcourts for several hours a day. What shoes would be best for protecting and cushioning my knees?
What shoes can you add external lifts to?
I need to buy shoes suitable to add an external lift because of my uneven legs, and Im not sure which to get.
Also I was wondering whether it is possible to add external lifts to Kickers hi 5 boots.
What are the best shoes to wear with scrubs?
I’m going to school for massage therapy. We’re going to be standing up a lot and massaging each others’ backs for practice and such. We won’t always wear scrubs but I want to know what the best shoes to wear are. I’m not interested in those crocs or whatever they’re called. I’m thinking about maybe Pumas? Just something comfortable but not ugly - I want to be able to wear it outside of school, too. Thanks!
What is the best brand of shoes for Nurses and others who work long shifts standing up?
I’m not a nurse, but I work long shifts which are ruining my feet! I heard that nurses’ shoes have good cushioning, so I’m looking for recommendations for the next pair I will purchase. What brands and models do you like, and why? I find that sport shoes like Nike are not cushioned enough any more, even with gel inserts, probably due to my many hours of walking on hard floors!
